Why I started Craig Accounting
Most small business owners I meet are good at what they do and have no idea what the business earned until someone tells them in April. Not because they're careless. Because the books are the last thing on the list at 10pm, and the person who prepares the return only sees them once a year.
I started Craig Accounting to close that gap for owners in Lenoir and Caldwell County. I keep the books every month, I prepare the return from those same books, and I'm the one who picks up the phone when you have a question.
How I work
I answer my own phone and email.
I quote before I start, in writing.
If you don't understand a report I sent, that's on me to fix. I'll walk you through it.
I keep the books as if I'll have to prepare the return from them, because I will.
Most of the monthly work happens over email and shared files. In-person meetings are for the first conversation and the tax review, if you want them.
